How much do taxis, Grab and Bolt cost in Pattaya?
Short answer
The app shows your fare before you book.
Grab and Bolt show the fare in the app before you book; neither publishes a fare table for Pattaya. Cars registered for app hire must charge within a national range set in 2021 (for a small car, 40 to 45 baht for the first 2 km, then 6 to 10 baht a km). The official taxi-meter fare applies to Bangkok-registered taxis; we found no official fare for Pattaya's taxis.
