Before you go
Check
- Retrieve the sunset value from TMD for the relevant date.
- Keep the result attached to its date and station context.
- Do not describe sunset as a universal full-darkness time.
Find today's sunset on the Pattaya page
Open TMD's Pattaya weather page and wait for the Current Weather panel to load. Check the station and announcement date, then look for Today Sunset. Tomorrow Sunrise is a different field: do not swap the two when planning an evening.
The page also has weather forecasts and observations. A number elsewhere in those panels is not the sunset time. If the panel is blank or the announcement date is wrong for your trip, reload or return later rather than reuse an old value.
Keep the date and calculation limits
TMD says the calculation uses the date and meteorological station coordinates and cannot be used for legal purposes. Keep those qualifications with any time you save. The value changes during the year, so one copied time cannot answer every future Pattaya visit.
Allow for the difference between sunset and darkness
Sunset is the event this source names. It is not a promise of full darkness, a twilight calculation or the final safe minute for an activity. For a boat departure, venue visit or return journey, use the operator's confirmed timing separately from this daylight lookup.
Save enough context to recheck the value
Save the Pattaya page link and the displayed date alongside the sunset value. A cropped clock value loses the station and field labels. Keeping that context lets another traveller distinguish Today Sunset from Tomorrow Sunrise and repeat the lookup for the actual day of the visit.
