Define the seller and transaction
Write down the seller or service provider's exact name, store or platform, date, item or service, amount paid and the specific problem. Record what you already asked the seller to do and its response. Keep the complaint factual: separate a defective item, missing service, misleading statement, unauthorized charge and delivery issue instead of assuming they have the same route.
Preserve the order or contract, receipt, payment proof, seller messages, advertisement and dated photos that show the relevant condition. This is an evidence-organizing checklist consistent with the portal workflow. The reviewed pages do not say every item is mandatory, and possessing the documents does not establish that OCPB has jurisdiction or must order a remedy.
Ask which official path fits
OCPB's English homepage lists Complaint Online, the OCPB Connect application, hotline 1166, LINE account @ocpbconnect and regional contact through provincial town halls. A short-stay visitor who is unsure about identity requirements or issue scope can use a current contact channel to ask which path fits before entering personal data into the portal.
Use only the official OCPB domain or channel named there. Do not send a passport image, card data, full bank statement or unrelated personal records to an account found through an advertisement or search result. Confirm the destination and share only what the official process requests for the particular case.
Use the portal as a trackable workflow
The official portal's flow identifies the trader and problem, asks the user to sign in or register, accepts information and evidence, and provides status tracking. The help material says attachments can be added and a complaint or reference number is issued for later tracking. Save that number separately from the evidence file.
Label attachments so the sequence can be understood without guessing: order and payment, seller statement, request for correction, seller response and current condition. Keep original files when possible. Avoid publishing accusations or a seller's personal details while the matter is unresolved; submit factual records through the official case channel.
Keep eligibility and remedy uncertain
The reviewed English landing page and Thai portal do not clearly establish foreign visitor account acceptance, full English-language handling, jurisdiction over every seller or service, filing deadlines, response time, compulsory participation, refund entitlement or outcome. Confirmation from OCPB is therefore a gate, not a formality that this answer can resolve.
Keep any acknowledgement and follow the current instructions attached to the case. OCPB is a consumer channel, not a substitute for police, medical or other emergency help when there is active danger, injury or suspected crime. A VAT-refund application, rental-contract issue, telecom complaint and regulated-product check may also have their own specialist route.
