Plan the whole journey
Ask the operator for the expected crossing on your chosen service and check the return sailing before leaving Pattaya. Confirm the departure and arrival piers; a public-ferry estimate does not describe every endpoint, speedboat or charter.
Allow additional time to reach the pier, find the queue and board. The reviewed sources give no dependable total journey time or measured boarding allowance. Avoid a tight onward connection, and keep the plan flexible if the expected crossing cannot be confirmed.
Why the source limitations matter
The operator’s description specifically covers Pattaya–Na Baan in both directions. It has no visible update date and still quotes 30 baht, while the separate service post quotes 40 baht and gives no crossing duration. The government tourism descriptions cover the ferry more broadly; their content dates are unclear.
