Keep the answer to prepackaged food
Thai FDA's food-law index identifies Ministry of Public Health Notification No. 450 B.E. 2567 (2024) in the current prepackaged-food labeling framework. This route is therefore about information printed on packaged products, not a promise about restaurant preparation or an unpackaged food counter.
The FDA implementation notice says the notification changed allergen scope and placement, including molluscs, squid and their products. Use the current label and current FDA material; do not rely on a remembered list from an older package or turn this narrow evidence into a complete translated allergen glossary.
Compare the language fields
Thai FDA says domestic bilingual labels must comply with Notification No. 450 and translated English must not contradict its requirements. The FAQ gives an example of corresponding Thai and English allergen wording. Read the fields together rather than treating English as an independent guarantee.
If the fields appear inconsistent or the information is not clear enough for the allergy involved, this evidence does not justify guessing. The rule tells you how the fields should correspond; it does not validate the printing on a particular pack or determine whether that product is suitable for one person.
Treat cross-contact as a separate question
WHO food-allergy material advises reading labels, planning ahead and accounting for cross-contact. A label check is one part of the decision, but the absence of an understood warning cannot be converted into proof that an allergen or cross-contact is absent.
Keep the exact package available while making the decision and use the manufacturer's or regulator's current information if the label leaves uncertainty. This page does not certify a brand, interpret an ingredient by trade name or extend packaged-food rules to a restaurant's kitchen practices.
Plan the emergency handoff
WHO guidance says to seek emergency help for a serious allergic reaction. Do not use label research to delay that handoff or to diagnose the reaction. The separate Thailand emergency-numbers answer contains the checked local emergency pathway rather than duplicating a phone-number claim here.
Food-label requirements and regulator guidance can change, and individual packaging can differ. Recheck the Thai FDA index and FAQ before relying on the workflow, especially after a labeling-law update, while keeping medical decisions with qualified emergency or clinical care.
