Identify the TM47 decision first
TM47 is the Immigration Bureau's 90-day notification workflow for a person already in the relevant long-stay situation. It is an address-reporting process, not a visa application, a new permission to stay or proof that an existing permission has been extended. Check the due date shown in the person's own current Immigration record instead of calculating from a travel-blog example.
Keep TM47 separate from TM30 and the Thailand Digital Arrival Card. TM30 concerns an accommodation party's residence notification, while TDAC is an arrival process. Completing either one does not, by itself, establish that a TM47 request was made or approved.
Treat the filing window as unresolved
As checked on 2026-08-14, the live TM47 guide says to submit within 15 days before the due date. Immigration Bureau Order No. 97/2566, dated 2023-04-03, describes a narrower period from 15 to 7 days before the due date. These two responsible sources do not currently say the same thing.
Do not average, combine or choose between those windows from this page. Open the live official guide, compare its instruction with the due date, and contact Chonburi Immigration if timing is close or unclear. This answer does not establish that a late report can be cured online.
Use only the official request and status route
Begin from the Immigration Bureau TM47 guide and follow its current path to the request system. Check every identity and stay detail against the passport and Immigration record before proceeding. This guide does not reproduce portal fields because the live form, validation rules and email behavior can change.
A submitted screen is not the same as an approved report. Use the official status workflow and read the result actually returned for the request. Do not rely on a browser tab, unfinished form or payment request from an unrelated website as evidence of Immigration approval.
Save the acknowledgement and final result
Keep the request reference, acknowledgement and final status or result that the official system provides. Save them privately with the due-date record so that the request and its outcome are not confused later. The official sources do not promise an email, response time or approval outcome for every submission.
If the status remains unclear, use the reference when contacting Immigration. Do not publish passport details, addresses, reference numbers or screenshots that expose personal data. A saved request record is useful evidence of what was attempted, but it does not change the legal effect of the status shown by Immigration.
Use the office fallback when approval fails
The live guide directs an unapproved request to the nearest Immigration office. For a Pattaya-area resident, verify the responsible contact through Chonburi Immigration's current official page. Confirm branch routing, service hours, appointment rules and counter instructions directly because they are intentionally not stated here.
If the request is late, rejected, unavailable or inconsistent with the passport record, do not keep resubmitting on the assumption that a portal attempt fixes the problem. Ask Immigration for the current official route. This page cannot determine penalties, acceptance or the effect on an individual's status.
Confirm the current process before filing
The portal copy, filing window, status labels, authentication method and local fallback can change quickly. This page has not completed a report or tested an approval or failure path. Confirm the current behavior in the official system without submitting inaccurate information.
Recheck the live TM47 guide and Chonburi Immigration by 2026-08-28 and again on the day of use. For a fact-specific or late-report question, obtain current guidance directly from Immigration or a qualified Thai immigration professional rather than treating this general workflow as individualized legal advice.
