How do you escalate a Thai telecom service complaint?

Record the Thai telecom provider's name, service type, affected number or user ID, location, problem, requested action and any earlier case reference. The NBTC telecom-consumer complaint form accepts a national ID or passport number and supporting evidence. You can also contact the NBTC office through free Call Center 1200 or 02 670 8888 during its stated weekday hours. A passport field suggests a foreign-user path, but does not guarantee eligibility or a remedy.

How do you submit a 90-day report online, and what if it is not approved?

As checked on 2026-08-14, Thailand's Immigration Bureau operates an online TM47 request and status workflow. Its live guide says to submit within 15 days before the due date and take an unapproved request to the nearest Immigration office, but a 2023 Immigration order still describes a 15-to-7-day window. Verify the live portal and Chonburi Immigration before relying on either window. Filing is not approval and does not extend permission to stay.

When does Thailand's 180-day tax-residence threshold apply to a foreigner?

Thailand Revenue Code Section 41 treats a person who stays in Thailand for periods totaling 180 days in a tax year as resident for that provision. Current Revenue Department guidance for foreigners also uses 180 days or more, while an older department overview says more than 180 days. Use 180 days or more only with the statute/current-guidance context, keep a defensible day count, and obtain qualified Thai tax advice before applying the rule to income or filing.
